Where did u find rain? Send some east
I am in ne tn in Unicoi. It started raining yesterday evening and rained most of the night. This morning was light rain and now is almost a mist type of rain. The hurricane is now like a nor'easter for where I am at in the mountains. Cold air out of the NW and a light rain that won't really show up on radar. During the winter when we get this type of weather it will snow and we may have a few inches of snow when Johnson city won't have anything.

Hoping they travel this creek, like they usually do, before going out into the field.. In the shade and with this breeze it's perfect out. No bugs either.

I still have to pinch myself every now and then to make sure I'm not dreaming. This is the first time I've really had the opportunity to hunt on my own property. It's not much but it is mine and loaded with white oaks. I'm kinda hoping a deer does not disturb my evening with a view like this.

Had a good morning in the ground blind. Had a few does close to me. They were moving well all morning! Finally decided to take one around 10 AM.

That's awesome man! Nothing like that first hunt knowing the property is yours! Congrats.

I get out of the car, walk 20 yards and notice the wind is all over the place today.. take a few more steps and a doe smelled me and began to blow. Didn't expect her to be where she was mid-day.

Continued the walk to the stand, overlooking a pitiful food plot.. a small pocket of green.. Climb the tree and look to my right and can't help but to enjoy the fall leaves..

Finally got out checking a new area I got permission to hunt . Not very big area but lot of deer . Hoping I can muzzleload hunt there because of houses nearby. Completely legal just you know how neighbors can be. He said he didn't care what they thought so hoping I can get him a deer . Actually missed a doe I thought was closer and seen several deer all does or fawns . Scope is not lighting up and the lines are very fine making it hard to pin point center especially with my bad right eye . May have to start shooting lefty. Excuses , excuses 😂
