I'm with ya brother. And last night's tacos are taking a toll. If it really dries up this evening I may head out for a sit just to get out but I took off all week. First vacation where I'm not working on something in a couple years. I'll have several opportunities to hunt deer, yotes, and doves this week

Sorry about the rain though. It's my fault. Since I wasn't able to hunt today, I planned to mow the yard. All I did was tell one person, and, well, rain.
If ya'll ever need a big monsoon, let me know and I'll wash and wax the truck. It will rain for a week straight.

Just got back. Had 6 does at 15 yards. Hunting with my son and he couldn't get on them. There was a shot, but he didn't take it. He told me later that he didn't feel comfortable with the shot. Haha. When I was his age, I'd emptied my quiver

I was in them this morning. Saw 2 different bears out of bow range and sign everywhere. Too bad it closed today

You can use a gun. The only negative to the dog hunts is you can't count on natural movement and scouting. So your chances of success plummet imo
