I still don't understand why anyone would mess with all the crap that goes into a red dot when most modern shottys have a fiber optic front bead, not knocking anyone who uses a optic just don't see the difference, would love to hear opinions
As tight as patterns are becoming with modern turkey chokes and specialized turkey shot shells, it's becoming almost a necessity....especially at closer ranges. I've seen patterns that are so tight at 20-25 yards that there's not a lot of wiggle room for error in aiming. Shot placement isn't affected as much by head position when using a red dot as it is when trying to aim using the rib bead/beads.
