Pathetic!

Bama boosters pay off Saban's home

Nick Saban may earn in the area of $7 million per year, but that doesn't stop the Alabama faithful from helping out their championship-winning coach whenever and however they can.

According to a report from AL.com, the Crimson Tide Foundation paid off Saban's $3.1 million home in January 2013 even though the organization was under no obligation to do so.

The Sabans, who bought the 8,759-square-foot home in 2007, continue living there with the foundation picking up the tab for property taxes each year.

Anything to bash the Tide, huh. This goes on in a lot of places and has for decades. Would it make you feel better if the boosters just paid him $12 million or so? It won't make the 2012 NC game turn out any different. Congrats on the 7-0 start (cough, cough). BTW, the Foundation BOUGHT the house, not paid it off.

Before the vols get cranked up, this is just about 1/4 of the amount the vols paid for two head coaches that didn't coach a game.

He has certainly earned it and I see nothing wrong with it.

It's probably the least they can do after Saban turned down $100mil from Texas.
