Wow! I've been betting on games for years and I learned a loooong time ago, if Vegas puts out a line that looks like easy money, run! SC=11.5 looks way too easy!

Feelings are the reason I have a rule against betting on Tennessee games. Although I broke it twice this year. Won nicely on the Virginia game, lost half of it back in Florida game. My rule is back in effect. 
I can't enjoy the game if I bet against Tennessee. There's more than enough other games to bet on. I would avoid this game anyway. That line just seems way off.

If I were a betting man I'd take that line. As much as I want the Vols to win I don't see it happening based on what I have seen from Joe to this point

It has apparently moved to 12.5. Crazy to me. I think Rattler is going to shred us again.
Our secondary is weak as water. They give every receiver a 10 yard cushion. If Rattler is on his game I think you are correct. He is going to light them up. I think every good QB is going to do the same if the DBs don't improve. For them all to do it they must be getting coached that way. I have lost any confidence I had in this being a great season.

I don't see the Vols winning Saturday. Not that it matters really but I also didn't think they should have been ranked ahead of the gators after losing to them . 7-8 wins is the ceiling this year I'm afraid.

Yes, there is a defense problem that can be exploited by every good qb. I lost confidence as well and am glad hunting season will prevent me from being able to watch any of the games...lol

I agree with everything you said. In addition to Virginia, Austin Peay, and UTSA, I see wins over UConn, Vandy, and maybe South Carolina, Mizzou, or Kentucky. Maybe. I guess we'll see if the coaching and play calling picks up and huge improvements are made. I don't know how talented this team is, but I just don't believe the staff is getting everything out of them that they can. The play calling on both sides of the ball has been horrible. I will admit I haven't watched the UTSA game in full yet, but they should've been able to do anything they wanted in that game.

I am floored by these stats. Almost feel like the line was based on stats and as someone who lives on data, there are times it doesn't tell the full story
I'm going to bring a little positivity to this post.
This stadium is going to be ROCKING.. It's going to give us a huge advantage. We are going to use Sampson in the passing and running game. Heupel has proven he can coach at home. Milton is going to play like he did in the orange bowl. Those guys want this bad after what happened last year.

Uh, Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic handles all the orthopedic issues for UT football and has for 30 years…… the UT ORTHO guys do not, so I call BS on Milton's knee.

Right. Like last year when the Vols beat ALABAMA because they werent't prepared and Saban couldn't manage the clock. Home games do create an advantage.
Heuple confirmed Milton had knee looked at scanned by docs. Said diagnosis is confidential. Said he will be full strength Saturday. He always says that even if they dont play. Imagine they are observing and deciding if they need to play Nico.
