Filled a buck tag this evening. He was cruising hard and turned him with a couple social grunts. Double lunged and just caught the bottom half inch of the heart. Swackers did the job! Ran about 100 yard and piled up. Should have been a 12. Point but had 5 broken tines. I have a picture from night before last of the other buck I think kicked his butt. Pictures aren't very good.

I killed my first deer of the year on Saturday. My deep freezer was empty, so I was glad to take this one home.

She passed by one of our cams after I shot her.

Killed the wide 8 point on the next to last day of bow season. Got the other one on election day with my M/L 8 point as well. Done for the year, but i'll take my Grandson on the rifle season.

This is a NW Indiana deer bow kill. Sorry to post an out of state deer but out of respect for the age on this old buck I had to.

I've only been out twice in gun season - passed on muzzle loader - opening day got a doe - went out yesterday, passed on a doe and waited for a buck - didn't have wait long ! Deer hunting officially over for this year.

Took this doe today. She has been on camera only walking on 3 legs. 35 yd shot, 34 yd recovery.
Pretty sure she had been hit by a car. 2 of her feet were messed up.
