I have always wore Rockys but my last pair the soles fell apart.I have read that alot on this post. I have been looking at the Irish Setter Gunflint 1000g. $119 and weigh under 4lbs a pair. I wear a pair of Mucks with chaps sewn in for coon hunting and I really like those.

I have worn this pair of Rocky Gore Tex Wellingtons for at least 9 years. Resoled once $50. Still don't leak.

I perfered Rocky, redhead, Lacrosse, and several others over the last 30+ yrs.... My dad sent me a pair of Mucks 4 seasons ago and I have not wore another hunting boot since... The best cold weather boot on the Market period..... Most of the guys that get these are a lot further North then TN.... :)
