Snake boots / gaiters

Anyone have recommendations on snake boots or gaiters? I am looking to buy a new pair of early season/warm weather boots and would like to add snake bite protection.

I would stay away from rocky. Mine leaked terribly. My feet would get wet walking through damp fields with no standing water, just dew on the grass. Tried contacting rocky and they never returned my calls or emails.

If they still made them, cabelas pinnacle series snake boots are great. Have had a pair of them I have worn during early season and in the spring for probably close to 15 years. If I had to buy new now I would look close at danner.

I've got a pair of gaiters from Academy Sports. Seems like they're around $30 or $40. They have 2 buckles on each one.

Don't buy Red Head brand. Mine didn't last a year until they started coming apart.
I have a pair of Rattler brand snake proof chaps that's over 12 years old and still in good shape.
I will also take advice on what others recommend.

I too still have a pair...much older and they look new.

Sharptail. Reviews recommended 1/2 size larger. That is what I ordered, and they are perfect.

I have the Danner Vitals and been real happy with them
