I've got a mdl 700 lss in 7mm RUM that I'm wanting to replace the factory trigger. Leaning towards Timney elite hunter... any suggestions?

That's what I went with. The only issue I had was when I installed the Timney, the trigger guard was in contact with the trigger on one side. I took a file and removed some of the metal from the guard so the trigger could move freely. But part of the reason I did that is because I am refinishing the whole outside of my rifle, so it didn't matter to me.

TriggerTech primary is the lowest priced and the best for a hunting rifle of 700 or any 700 clone.
They are adjustable with click adjustments. And easily go to 2 and 3/4 pounds with no creep or take up.

How much are they? The last Rifle Basix trigger I bought was a little over 100 bucks. He has triggers in pretty much any weight range you desire. Im running an 8 to 16 oz trigger set at 8oz in my Ultra Mag.

I have just adjusted the triggers on my model 700's. If I were to buy an aftermarket, would likely go with a timney.
I've adjusted the factory trigger in this one. To get the pull weight I want it has a little creep in it and I can't stand it lol. My other 700's I have adjusted and are fine. They are from the 70-80s era were this one is in the 2004 range

TriggerTech hands down the best deal for the money and the best trigger in my opinion.
i bought at TT Special and the safety froze up on it and Greg Young at Bugholes swapped it for a new one and that one the safety froze up on it also,, contacted TT directly the second time and they sent me another one in the mail and said they had changed the design of the safety so hopefully I wont have to get another one as I do like the way the trigger feels

I hunt with a 30.06 and .243 based on Remington 700 actions. I put the Timney Elite Hunter triggers that measure at 2.7 lbs. on both rifles. The 30.06 is on top with .243 on bottom in the photo.
