Love my garmin Instinct watch. It even communicates with my Alpha 100 gps to track my dog collars. Battery life is amazing too.

Depends on where you hunt. I know I have got back to the truck and the game warden was there and heard my shot. Asked if I wanted help dragging. Very common on public land.

Yeah that happened to me @ Yuchi except he didn't offer to help and he could drove to within 100 yds of my buck . With that said though I borrowed his wheel barrow .

One of the things that pushed me towards the Instinct was that I can sense a squirrel dog in my future and wanted something that would work with a collar. And, the battery life on this is definitely amazing. I think the last time I charged it was the middle of July, just before a vacation, and I don't have it on any battery savings, just normal settings.
