I did too on Sunday. It was bigger than any scrape I've seen in years, including the big mock ones I make in the fall. It had atleast 10-15 prints in it and not a leaf. I wanted to put a camera over it. Maybe when I'm down there this coming weekend I will…just to see the type of action this time of year

I bet I saw 4-5 along a logging road on a ridge about 3x3' but as you said fresh prints and not a single leaf in any of them .

I am sure that I had a chase on my cell cam last week. There were also a couple of very small does with dark tarsals hanging around my mock scrapes.

I usually see a surge of scraping at the beginning of new antler growth, but that is usually mid to late April.
