And if you were camping and your dog treed a squirrel, and you could not shoot it out, I would tie dog to tree and pet it up real good.

I think the biggest thing about training dogs is tying them to tree, and petting them up real good.

With our young dogs, our number one thing is to tie dog to tree. Shooting squirrel out is second.

Im sure everybody has their different ways, but that's how I do it.

I have seen several post of different websites for Fiest/Jack Russel mixes, does anyone know the reason for this? Or is it by mistake and people are trying to play it off?

Good looking pup with some chrome! Keep her in the timber and keep it fun. Don't over hunt your pup.Praise the good and discourage the bad. It will come to her.

Thanks tar12, need any help I can get, she is my first tree dog. We've already eased into the woods a couple of days.
