Just how much better is Georgia than Alabama this year? Seems to be a fairly wide margin.

If you don't believe Alabama to be one of the top 4 teams in the country, can you name the 4 that are?
Back on topic: up to this point Georgia is the best team I've watched all year. Their offense is just serviceable but their d-line/front 7 wreaks havoc against opposing offenses. Barring any serious injuries on D, I agree that Georgia would likely beat Alabama by 10-14.
Of course a 2-loss Bama will get in the playoffs. It's already fixed.
Backdoor? Alabama has been in the top 4 all except one week this year.
The more I've thought about it, I don't think the SEC will want to risk Bama not getting in the playoff with two losses, so GA needs to be mentally prepared.

Georgia and Alabama are numbers 1&2.
Basically you could put either team in either spot and it would be accurate.
Personally I believe Georgia is a little better team.
I don't think they will beat Alabama though.
That's why they play the games though.

I agree, I think GA is the better team right now. There is still a lot more games to play. Alabama/Saban also have a lot more experience preparing for the big games.

Georgia has beat 4 ranked teams.
alabama has beat 3 ranked teams, and powerhouses Mercer and Southern Miss. And lost to an unranked team.
All that talent and depth - and they're still not number 1. lol
I don't think an undefeated Cincinnati is automatically in the playoff.
