Has TWRA (or anyone else) ever done a Rut Map like this one the Georgia Outdoor has done? This is for the 2018 harvest during the rut.

Got an email today from Georgia Outdoors thought it was interesting so many different times and towns right next to each other with a wide range of dates.

That ga map is completely different than the one published for rut dates based on car deer collisions

It's definitely right on for the coastal area I hunt, Mid October when it's hot. GA DNR is an excellent example of a customer oriented wildlife agency.

According to the article it is based on actual harvests.

Yes, They talked to 250 people about their harvests, time, terrain etc etc. Interesting article.

Yes. Mid October when it's literally 70-90 degrees for highs

Yeah, don't know if you could ever just nail it. Ballpark for sure. I liked the time of day chart better.
