After a couple of weeks of tough hunting and also focusing on trying to help my brother and a friend get a turkey, I was finally able to put the 20 gauge 870 youth I put together a few months ago to work yesterday.
I shot this one at 45 yards with Apex 9 shot out of a .575 Carlsons choke. It was bang, dead, no flop…he was absolutely stone dead…19lbs, 8" beard, 1" spurs.
