you don't want a blend, straight 9's is ALL you will ever need. Just fewer pellets when you blend in the no 7's.

I stocked up last summer on the reduced recoil #9's to last me for the next 5 seasons... I'm THAT impressed with them.

Skfooter I know you didn't ask me but I shot the # 9 out of a Mossberg SA 20 Turkey thug with a Carlson .575 turkey choke. It's like mega said they are impressive to say the least! I also shot them out of Tri star 20 youth model raptor with a primos tightwad choke just as impressed. I really like the #9 and exactly why I sent back the blends, they are probably good shells but straight #9 shot so well I didn't want to change. I bet the 8/ 10 blend will be a popular shell.

rem 870 youth with .582 undertaker. not as dense a pattern as most want, but its shooting 150/250 in the 10/20" circles, but no holes in pattern. I built it for my kids, so I didn't want as dense a pattern in that gun.

I liked it so much, I bought a new 20g 870 youth camo and have put a .562 Sumtoy on it and topped it with a vortex venom. I haven't patterned it, but I expect to get a much denser pattern out of that combo.

Should look something like this with that sumtoy.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought a box at Binks in Franklin and checked the shells and they also said 7/9. Box said 9. They said I could return and were going to check all their boxes.

That started January 1st. But Macks Prairie Wings is not charging Tennessee residents sales tax on orders. I ordered my Federal TSS shells from them Monday.

What is the difference between 1000 fps and 1200 fps #9s that Rogers is showing? I make my own but have a buddy wanting to order a couple of boxes for his niece. I think last year's was 1000 fps. I ready above about he mix up on the 7/9 blend, but they had 100fps #9 out of stock but still showed #9 1200 fps.
