I'd LOVE to have the classic in 7x57 too! I wouldn't have the discipline to keep it in unfired condition however.

It's interesting how some people are very brand loyal, while others seem to shop for the best deal, moa guarantee, or other specific aspect when deciding on a new rifle purchase. Growing up, we always drooled over remington 700's while savages and other brands weren't nearly as highly regarded. A lot of that for me is the legacy and history that Remington has with our country. I hope they get their crap together and start producing quality rifles again.

The Premier Highlander is a stainless fluted rifle with Cerakote but it is not in a wood stock. Actually the pic about is a Highlander input into one of their wood stocks. The Highlander is about the perfect hunting rifle. It is the bottom one in this pic View attachment 72417

Man those are sharp rifles!
