I am planning a hunting/camping trip to Chuck Swan for Thanksgiving week (Mon - Wed). I picked those days specifically in hopes that there wouldn't many folks there. Hoping to kill a few squirrels and enjoy the scenery. Having been there several times on non deer hunt weekends, I can say that other that the occasional ATV joy rider, I didn't see anyone all day. I haven't been there this year though, and I am hoping that my favorite spots haven't been logged. Anyone here have a wellness report on the road quality, or by chance going to be there those days? I am also wondering if the squirrels are more in the trees or on the ground there this time of year, as I usually small game hunt after deer season is over.
