Anyone like/carry revolvers?
For some reason, I gravitate towards them more so than semi autos. I remember when I was starting out shooting handguns many moons ago, I liked revolvers. Even when Glocks were all the rage. My favorite revolver to rent was a S&W Model 10 with 4" barrel. It was just plain fun to shoot. Sadly, I was never able to buy one.
I have a 2.25" barrel Ruger SP101 in 357 mag. I rented one years ago when I qualified for my handgun permit, shooting 38 specials. I did well with it and liked it. I remember thinking I had to buy one...but opted for the Springfield Armory XD subcompact in 9mm instead. During the next few years, I always thought about that SP101 I rented, and how much I liked it. I found myself renting revolvers even thought I had a 9mm semi auto. So one day for my birthday, I bought at Ruger SP101. And loved that gun ever since.
My next handgun purchase will be a Ruger GP 100 in 4" barrel.
