Aren't most .260 rifles offered in a slow twist rate of 1:10? The 6.5 Creedmoor is almost always offered in 1:8 twist thus stabilizing higher BC bullets and maximizing performance.
My son bought a 6.5 Creed as a backup gun. I poked fun that he needed to wear a man bun, but it is definitely a shooter for a cheap gun with factory ammo. He has pulled the trigger twice this year with two kills, and I have to say that I am impressed with the results. Congrats on the kill btw!
