28 gauge BPS

Hoping to try my 28 gauge BPS on some close range gobblers this spring. Does anyone have any experience with TSS 9 or 9.5s in a 28 gauge?

Are you shooting TSS? If so what's the pattern like at 30-35 yards?

TSS out of a 28 is wicked. Mate it up with the right choke and load and you're good to 40, actually further but I won't recommend that out of respect for the bird.

That is great news! I like to try and getem within bayonet range if I can. I just ordered an Indian Creek .525, hopin it'll do the trick

Sounds like a great setup. See if you can get some Apex 9.5s or load your own.

Im shooting 8.5/9 duplex with IC 520.
It's became my favorite turkey gun.

I'm sure excited about giving it a go. I've always wanted a 28 gauge and thought taking a Turkey with it would be the ultimate hunt. I'll let ya know how it patterns once I get to try it. I sure do appreciate all the info, makes me think I'm on the right track.
