What are some of your goals this season?

Mine are..
1.) Kill a P&Y as my first bow buck
2.) Kill one of my top five trail camera bucks
3.) Kill a buck over 4.5
4.) Help my dad kill a 120+ He's only got one bigger than that and it was in 2001
5.) Kill two mature bucks in one year

My goals?

Primarily, have a safe and fun hunting season with my family. Secondarily, help my daughter kill her first deer, and maybe kill a decent buck myself.

1. If she is ready, help my daughter take her first deer.
2. Get in the woods and just have fun
3. Kill 3-4 deer max for the freezer, with hopefully one or two of these being decent bucks
4. Play "hitman" and take a couple of extra deer for my non-hunting friends
5. Hunt more from the boat (as a vehicle to get to my landlocked hunting grounds), as this tends to be a successful and fulfilling experience
6. Use multiple weapons to kill deer, although I want to use my bow less
7. Hunt in the snow at least once
8. Hunt from the ground more and be less reliant on my treestands
9. Don't get too torn up over antlers

First year hunting in TN. I'd like to just GO period, and hopefully put something in the freezer. Learn as much as I possibly can so that i'm much more prepared for next season.

1-see dry weather! (not drought, just not soaking)
2-guide my son to his first Illinois bow buck.
3-Double lung every shot I get.
4-Use my new Sony and get some hunts on film (hopefully my son's first Illinois buck)

First and foremost is have fun and be safe. After that, try to put my six yr old on his first deer. He is pumped and ready. After that, at least one good buck here and one in KY along with a few does.

1. Take as many kids as possible hunting.

2. Spend time in the woods, and enjoy being able bodied to do so. We never know how many seasons we have left.
