Supposed to be a " cover scent" . Made by hunters specialties and getting harder to find. Mine are a few years old but still work.

Amazon as acorn scented soap.... not even gonna lie you might get if you use it.
That's downright funny!
buddy that started me hunting 15 years ago swore by the acorn wafers. Been in my bag ever since. Call ot superstition or nostalgia... I don't know, but I've been fortunate to kill about 60 deers in 15 years.
Every time I hang the wafer, I think of my buddy

Tourniquet...cause you never know what idiots are out there.
Quick clot....again, see above. (Need to get some)
Depending on where I'm going...if crappy cell service...a hand held 2m ham radio with twin lead ant. (I can hoist it into tree for better reception)
Basic first aid kit
Otherwise, mostly stuff already mentioned.

You take a written test. With each upgrade, you take another test. Not that difficult.

I would have to check to make sure, but should be a ham fest the first weekend in January at the Walter State expo center I 81, exit 8. Can take the test there.

Scratch that...it's now in September, at Field of Dreams

I would have to take it all out of my bag to know everything I have in there. I leave all the items in there so only thing I am throwing in it is clothes, drinks, and snacks.

I do know I have a first aid kit/survival kit in it for emergency and a battery charger backup for my phone.

On side note I go through a back pack each year. I hunt some thick areas with a lot of mountain laurel and rhododendrons and by the end of the season my back pack will have all kinds of holes, missing buckles, and broken zippers. I hate to spend a lot on them since I am so ruff with it but maybe a higher end one would hold or to more abuse.

yeah. I recommend a better pack man.
Last year I bought a $500 pack from badlands gear for like $150. Great deals the 13 days leading up to Christmas.
I'll doubt ill ever be buying another pack. It's great. And unconditional guarantee. anything goes wrong, they fix or replace. No questions.

I'm sure others pack companies do the same, but check them out. I bought the MRK3 for the times I hike in to hunt any significant distance. No more dragging dear that far. Quarter it up and pack it out. I've not used this pack to haul out yet... but it is 1000x better than the last pack i had. I would not pay full price, but they always have some good sales
