6.5 PRC is a good un. It's basically a modernized .270 Win. They will have nearly identical performance to any range that 99% of people should be hunting at
May not be the rifle , but hey any excuse to get a new one is good! Good luck!Last year I ended up having to keep it 350 and below because I was shooting like crap. I had practiced plenty at 300 but its a diff story in the field while hunting.
Is the 6.5 PRC seek one approved? Will it take game quietly next to the swing set?6.5 PRC all day long. I've got 2. Flattest shooting and most enjoyable to shoot , larger caliber rifle I've ever owned. It will take game up to the size of moose, but with very light recoil.
Believe they used a rifle hunting public land out west a couple days ago and killed a pretty nice buck. Since I'm not a asshat prick like you, I watch them for the enjoyment and entertainment and not to belittle them. Now , could you kindly quit being an internet creep and quit harassing my posts? Is the 6.5 PRC seek one approved? Will it take game quietly next to the swing set?
I'm just messing with you bud, I thought you'd lose your yugo like you've done on some other members over these guys. good looking rifles, but I am a lefty that prefers right handed bolt actions.. so i need the tang safety . Already ordered the Browning Long Range xboltI picked up a Bergara B14 Crest a few weeks ago and finally got to stretch it to 300 yards today. I'll take 1/2 MOA groups at 200 and 300 all day. This would be a good one to look at if you're still considering a PRC.
Couldnt have been me It was my 270, it doesn't shoot well in high-altitude , so I NEEDED a new rifle (that's what my wife believes)May not be the rifle , but hey any excuse to get a new one is good! Good luck!
What components are you using? Just out of curiosity. I've been using WLR primers, but recently got some CCI 250's I haven't yet tested. Also was using accubonds, but might switch to a TTSX/LRX or a partition.Yes, i picked up a Browining Xbolt Speed in 6.5 PRC about 2 months ago. I love the gun, its the lightest gun I own., Working up some loads now
Hope to take a mule deer with it in a couple weeks (after I kill my elk of course)
