I can't seem to find the CWD positive map anywhere. I thought I saw one similar to the one below, but more detailed. Anybody seen one or is this the only one available?

As for that top map, I would like to see the spot location of ALL tested deer. That would give a more accurate representation of how prevalent the disease is in each area.

Unless the app has changed hunters can drop a pin almost right on the spot the deer fell. In the 1st year when there were far fewer dots I could tell from the dot-map above exactly which CWD+ deer I'd personally reported. Whether people are still reporting with that level of accuracy or not I don't know.
You might be able to get a more recently updated one by e-mailing Jeremy Dennison since he is the CWD coordinator. Unless the address scheme has changed, his e-mail address should be [email protected]
I reported mine accurately but I'm still waiting on the results. I was looking on the computer but haven't checked the app. Maybe that's where I saw the better map.

First deer I killed this season, this was accurate. Second one that I killed the 3 days later, the app would not let me drop the pin. It kept on moving my location about 5 to 6 miles away. Tried several times before just selecting in the app not to test that deer.
I just got results yesterday for "Hole In The Neck" buck that was killed on 11-21-22.
Just got the email that my Henderson County buck is negative.

I would guess that's never going to happen. Once it's there it will be there and only get worse, but that's pure speculation.
Do you provide water for your deer? If so, consider putting chlorine dioxide drops in it. We use it for our farm animals to kill diseases and keep them healthy. It's used to purify water, etc, and, if done in a strong enough way when/as needed over a period of time, it can kill Lyme disease, etc in humans; so might have the ability to stop cwd.

My Fayette county buck was positive
IMO, which isn't worth much, it will eventually be in every county and I'm not concerned about it all. I certainly understand those that discard their positive deer as a precaution but unless it crosses the species barrier with negative consequences I'm not gonna be concerned about it. Wisconsin is still a whitetail destination and they're still killing boomers. All those western states are still seemingly doing fine. It's not the end of the world. My concern is about why our agency is trying to kill every deer in West TN. I hate that for you guys out there. I certainly hope that madness is stopped before we wipeout the whole state's herd. It's not going away and killing deer does nothing for a prion that is in dirt as well. It's here to stay, accept that and hunt on.
CWD not detected
No, there are a couple of ditches that run through the place and a couple of small water holes. At least 1 adjoining landowner has a nice pond also.

The prions that cause CWD are not alive like bacteria, fungi, or viruses, so they can't be killed.
