0.31" of rain in June.... Two of my rain fed, bait fish ponds are almost dried up. I'm sure one will dry up this summer, I'm able to haul some water to the other one. My 2 acre, 13' deep pond in now 1.5 acres and only 8' deep.
Several trees tulip poplars are losing leaves already.
Way too early to be this dry.

You've got me beat. My place got 0.66" the day I planted in early June. Then a 0.08" and a 0.06" late in the month for a total of 0.80" for the month. Fescue in the region has turned brown and crunchy underfoot. I'll have to check out the Poplars. I did notice Hickories are dropping their nuts prematurely.

I've noticed the Hickory trees on my place dropping nuts prematurely as well…
I haven't kept track , but we've had very little rain in N Humphreys Co since the Thursday before Memorial Day…

My yard is toast…

Missed the rain again at my place. Total disaster. Long-range model shows chance Wed/Thurs and then nothing for the next 2 weeks.

Almost zero precipitation west and south of Highway 22 (Martin to Lexington).
Was a lot more than zero along the west side of Tennessee River from Paducah to Hwy 22. Just weird how those thunderheads were forming, dropping rain, then mostly dissipating by the time they went much east beyond TN River.

I got about enough in Stewart Co. to settle the dust.

I was watching them on radar. They developed, saw my property, and quickly dissipated to make sure I didn't get any rain.

We got about 1/4" last night and a 5 minute shower around lunch today. If someone told me the democrats were also controlling the weather, I'd half way believe them.

I just got home from planting my corn , took my daughter with me. I told her ideally it's raining when we leave, it started a decent shower 500 yds from my gate, hope it hit the field. We got some yesterday to make the field soft, I even had to wash off the drill before putting it up bc of the mud. Fingers crossed. Lord, bring on the rain .

I'm cursed. Big storms headed right for my place. Then they died just as they got there. 0.71" in Camden, 0.37" at New Johnsonville. Zero at my place just a couple miles away.
