The final 3 play calls left a lot to be desired IMO, especially the third down play call. I felt really bad for the kicker at the end. It appeared nerves definitely got the best of him. Was a great game to watch not having a dog in the hunt.

I also agree with the play call. No doubt the long distance factored into the bad kick.

I equate kicking to a golf shot in that you want to take a nice, in-rhythm swing; as opposed to having to really mash it to get the desired distance. Trying to kill the ball can lead to horrible consequences. May not have been the case here, but it sure looked like it.

I have to also give Kirby and staff credit for sniffing out the fake punt and getting the timeout.

I didn't watch but one bowl game, the tcu game.

I agree that it was a good timeout, but it shouldn't have been needed. OSU broke the huddle with 12 men and the refs missed it.
