Research determined that ticks can not only carry CWD prions in their blood meal, they can also carry enough of the agent to potentially infect another animal with CWD.

Have long thought that scavengers were spreading the prions. Had wondered if parasites might also have the potential to spread cwd, guess now we know they do.

This would then confirm that CWD risk is none to humans, if they thinks ticks spread it and hunters have long been getting bit by ticks, this shows that CWD risk to humans is zero, also its been around since the 50s and not a single documented case in humans....
