Just wanted to ask to be sure I am ordering to right choke for my 20 gauge stevens 301 turkey gun I am getting. I am going to see how the factory choke does but also want to get a carlsons tss turkey choke. I think it is the Win-browning invector-moss 500 model # 38008 with .555 constriction. Does anyone know if this is the correct choke? Thanks

Sighted my 20g in today with factory choke and tss #7's (didn't have 9's when I found them)
I know this don't answer your question but thought I would show you what mine did anyways

24yd pattern and 40 yd pattern

Nice patterns. I will probably see how the factory choke patterns prior to getting a carlsons choke. Just wanted to know for sure which carlsons choke i need to get if Im not happy with the factory pattern.

I believe you are correct it uses the same tubes as my son's Mossberg 500. I never ordered another tube for it. It's the only 20 gauge I have that uses the factory choke. The factory choke with Federal TSS#9 is just way too good to replace in my opinion. I have a Carlson 575 turkey tube in all my others. I have the 410 model in the 301 T also, again factory and Federal TSS #9. If you look into it you will read where Stevens and Federal developed the tube to shoot with the Federal TSS with the flex wad. They nailed it! You will love the gun! Good luck

Yes correct and the 555 shot way better in mine than the factory with the federal 11/2 9 shot
