Expensive isn't always better. I bought an Ithaca model 37 for $300 when I was 14 and still tag deer with it to this day

The first gun Dad ever bought my oldest brother was an Ithaca 37 featherlight 12. He's been using it for 50yrs and it still slings a Remington Slugger like it's a sabot through a rifled barrel. Incredible guns.

What brand is that? Anyway if it goes bang, kills stuff, and cycles reliably who cares. I have cheap guns that shoot better than guns that cost thousands
American tactical shots pretty dang good for what it is. Got it for Christmas last year. I have always just bow/ muzzleloader hunted my whole life.

The ATI factory is a few miles from my house here in Summerville SC. Their stuff is imported from turkey and assembled in SC for the most part.

My dad and several uncles all had Ithaca 37s. Had one weird Uncle who had a remington. Anyway when I was 19 and first married the first gun I bought was an Ithaca 37 and I loved it. It accounted for a lot of game however when I was 25 and broke I pawned it in Chattanooga and never got it back. That was in 1978 and I still miss that thing.
