Ruger 77-22 //CZ 452

Paul out at Gamaliel said he has one of each,,the Ruger has a 3-9 BSA scope for 450 and the Cz 452 is not the American and has sights no scope for 325,,he dont deal in junk so I hope to come home with one or the other,,

leaning hard towards the CZ,,havent had much exposure to the 77-22,have shot a couple been not really target tested them,,

My father in law has a 77/22 in the .22 Hornet. It feels amazing to me and is scary accurate. It is one of our back up coyote guns. But who wants to pay for the ammo for the hornet!

The Ruger is a great gun. But CZ has a great rep. for being a solid gun. I've never touched a CZ.

Own both a 77/22 and 22hoenet. They are freat guns with a great feel.Triggers as with most rugers are a little crip. timminey has a cure fo that!! Accuracy is great though.

I am a big Ruger fan however of those two I would go with the CZ. The 77/22 is a nice rifle and the 10 rnd box mag is super. However the split bolt on the 77/22 'CAN' make accuracy problematic. There is a whole cottage industry that has developed around accurizing the 77/22 rifles. Odds are the CZ will outshoot the Ruger but between any 2 actual rifles the odds may not hold as you well know. PH

I will say this you cant do better than dealing with Paul. He has always treated me right. By the way I like the ruger.
