Rifle calibers you don't like

I have a distaste for recoil. I grew up hunting with a .30-06 b/c that's what everyone had/suggested. If you wanted to hunt anywhere in North America, it was most recommended. It caused me to develop a flinch. It ultimately caused me to start looking at smaller calibers and letting go of the '06. As I get older, I like calibers that allow for follow-through in my shots. However, go to small and I lose confidence in the round.

.270 I won't have another one, for some reason I had the worst luck with it. For deer hunting I don't go over a 30-06 I mostly shot a .243 or 7-08

Its not fun to shoot but my tikka .300WM has been the most accurate, reliable rifle I have ever shot. Im about to put together a .260 rem so my shoulder is excited about that.

I cant say there is a caliber I dont like, if there is, I havent shot it yet. I have .243, .25-06, .30-06, .300WM. with a decent scope and the right bullet, they have all killed deer...

To those that feel that a 30/06 has a lot of recoil, I've never thought it has much. Now, how many shoot 3.5" mag 12 gauges?

I used to for coyotes. Went back to 3" BB shot. Rarely do you shoot more than once and your adrenaline is so high you dont notice.

Have you ever shot a 3.5 mag out of a Mossberg 535? That thing will rattle your teeth loose!

The 535 turkey model weighs about 3/4-1 pound less than an 870 turkey model. None of the 3.5 mags are fun to shoot but the most tolerable one I have shot was a VersaMax.

I have an 835 and I will agree. It will scramble your brains if you're not careful.

Interesting reading through this.

I don't hate any 1 caliber specifically just some I don't care for.
Like the belted mags but love like the WSMs Rum.
Like other sick of hearing creedmore this n creedmore that, have zip desire to get one.the PRC is sarting to ware thin as well,at least the 6.5 which I have never been a fan of,nothing wrong with em though. Was surprised my uncle got the Creed recently my self would rather have the sweed in the right rifle of coarse.
