Official 2017/2018 Deer Season Kill Thread

I'll start us off.

I killed my first velvet buck this evening in KY. He was quartered away hard at 15 yards, and I slipped a slick trick behind his rib cage and got his heart. I passed this deer last year, so it's nice to be rewarded with such a buck.

Thanks. I've shot a buck during the first week for the past 4 years. Unfortunately, I didn't make a killing shot on the one last year, but I did get to hunt the rut in KY which was a wild ride.

Here ya go Hollar Hunter I posted my kill thread in the ML forum but HH let me know that he would have missed it had I not mentioned it in the East Tn bucks thread. I had him rough scored at 147 as a 9 pt by a friend. Two points that weren't quite an inch for a Tennessee 11 pt.
