I assembled my first tripod and set it up among some trees. When I put it up it was almost hidden but I still had shot lines. Tied it down so it'll stand up to winter winds.
Then the wind blew and the leaves that hid the stand were gone.
I was in a rush to get it up so the deer could get used to it, I should have realized the surrounding trees would drop their leaves.
Now I don't know if I should move it or see if it works out. I have camo burlap that covers me but it is silhouetted against the sky if a buck looks up.
