Got a cva scout from a member here several months back. Got it sent off for a conversion. Gonna make a youth/woods gun outta this one. Not planning on full loads but good middle of the road loads. Everything I had in the lighter bullets was sized to a different gun, and this bore is a bit bigger. Decided to order some fury 250gr bullets.

I didn't get the ones for a smokeless gun. I talked with Dennis and told him what I wanted. Gonna keep the FPS around 2000 or so and he said these would be perfect. Hoping they'll be a much cheaper option than a Parker BE.

Even let my helper size them. Hopefully tomorrow we'll know how they'll shoot. Gonna start around 48gr of h4198. Wool wad. ASG LRMP plug. Fed 215m primers.

36 to 38gr of N110 is an awesome and very dependable youth load.
I may end up trying to find some. Gonna play with the 4198 since I have quite a bit. Hoping the oldest gives this thing a workout this fall

I didn't take any pictures of the targets but the bullets shot an inch and a hair for 3 different loads. Stopped at 50gr 4198. 2250fps. Should do all I'm expecting it to do. Tried catching the bullet and I didn't have enough jugs to catch it once it turned. I will say this is most likely max speed on these bullets if you expect them to stay together. Can't wait for season to get here
