Ok. Here's the full story for y'all. I was in my stand posted up ready for the rest of the night until I got thirsty. I've hardly drank so I walked to the house and got me something to drink. As I was walking out I spotted 2 does and decided to leave them be. Got my drinks and headed back out. Got in the timber and found a good tree to post up on for the rest of the night. Then I see It. Couldn't tell what it was so I took a shot. Felt pretty good about it. It ran and 30 to 40 yards around me and stood, ran some more and I lost him. Tracked blood and found him. I shot it with my birthday crossbow that dad got me. I'm proud of myself to say the least, I have a proud lady as well.
