Quota Deer Hunt Tn State Park??

Last night I watched a video of catman hunting a Tn state park as a result of a special quota hunt to reduce the number of deer. The area was relatively flat and had a really good walking trail. I wondered if this was Cedars of Lebanon, or somewhere else? Just thinking maybe a hunt I would consider applying for. I didn't like his walking/stalking style. He shot 3 does and, unfortunately, was only able to recover one.

yeah I saw it. I was thinking it may have been Longhunter State Park. I know they have a special yearly lottery. Cuz cant you hunt Cedars of Lebanon all season anyway?

I'm not familiar with either parks

The walking and stalking made it more interesting I think. A crossbow hunter would have a field day in there.

Yeah I just looked, cedars of Lebanon lets you hunt certain parts of the park year around with a free permit. Longhunter is only once per year drawing.

Yeah someone with one of those 500 fps Ravin's would've slayed in there.

I saw pics on instagram but not the video yet. You can hunt Cedars of Lebanon so wasn't that. Didn't know Longhunter had a hunt if that's what it was.

Is was interesting to watch, but I believe he would have killed several if he'd just hung a stand and hunted in a more typical fashion.

It's Longhunter and it's a draw hunt. I believe they have done it for the past three years to thin out the herd.
