So it's the great grandmother's land - it's not YOUR LAND. If you want to fish anywhere OTHER than YOUR LAND, you buy a license. Beyond simple.

i understand that not everyone can own land nor have family that does but you can keep on letting the state or national government keep on making you pay and tax you for everything!!! including fishing on your grandmothers land!!!

Need help setting a debate. Specifically talking about Tims Ford Lake but is a fishing license needed if fishing from a privately owned dock?

If the dock is constructed over the water, isn't it considered public?

(There's several lakes around here, where that's the case.)
