If I own land that adjoins a NWR, is it ok for me to trim out shooting lanes to direct deer onto my land? and pour out deer corn. You know sort of making my own personal "land grab" without actually hunting on the federal reserve.

Do I still need to be 250 yards away from my corn piles? I have seen this done on land near Cross Creeks at Guices creek.

Thanks for clarification

Subject to the baiting laws, what you do on your property is up to you. Our enforcement guidelines on baiting are that the hunter cannot be within 250 yds of the bait site, and cannot shoot into the 250 yds zone all around the bait. That zone is approximatley 41 acres in size.
