Bonus Deer

In the regulation book it states Units A, B, C, D, L - Two (2) antlered deer (one per day, not to exceed 2 for the season). The bag limit of two (2) antlered deer may be exceeded if taken as a bonus deer. What is a bonus deer? Thanks

CWD earn a buck also.

For example, the Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge quota hunts coming up allow for one buck, which is considered a "Bonus Buck" and doesn't count towards the state bag limit.

And as someone stated, the earn-a-buck in the CWD counties. If you shoot a CWD+ buck, you get another buck tag

As stated above....Quota hunts and special open hunts on WMA's. However, not all of those are "bonus bucks" so be sure to verify with the regulation booklet or call your regional office.
