Here's a way to cover deer approaching from where you can't or don't watch. I have a couple spots where I can only watch in one direction. If I'm watch one way and deer cross where I wasn't watching I'd miss them and not even know they went through. To solve this I bought a battery operated driveway alarm from Amazon, less than $30. I put the motion detector where I couldn't watch and set the receiver to flash only. Now I get a flash and turn to see what's going through. Works great.

How much range from motion detector to target and how much range from motion detector to receiver?
I hunt fence rows and impossible to watch 4 directions.

I think it's around 20' for motion. Says ideal is 1000' to the receiver. Two motion detectors came with mine but you can't differentiate. Amazon has the specs.
