Bowl game observations.

After quite a hiatus from football I have watched a few bowl games.
My lord!! Does every player that makes a 1st down or a tackle have to act like they just won the superbowl? Get up and go back to the huddle.
And the portal and NIL have bastardized the sport.

My dad used to tell me if I scored a touchdown to hand the ball back to the referee and act like you've been there before. The ones I shake my head at are the guys that get a first down and stand up and give the "first down" sign with their arm all while getting the brakes beat off them and game close to being over.
