Mr. Big, this is huge, and you are an inspiration. I am proud of you, brother.

I have been fortunate to have never needed to be on pain meds. I have lost 2 cousins to opioids, so I know how easy it is to slip into addiction.

I've had a rough couple weeks and actually forgot about this until my wife reminded me..

My Dad had Parkinson's and fell on June 29th and busted his head..had a brain injury and lived 15 days ..he died on July 14th 1 day before my 2 year anniversary of getting clean..it was tough but I made it through without any chemical help..

Condolences on the loss of your Father.

Not much can ease that pain. We stare at our kids and wonder can I be like my Dad? The answer is yes, absolutely, we have learned. We find ourselves talking with our Dad long after he is gone, asking for guidance, giving thanks for what we learned. Leaning on that strength and knowing there is much to be done.
