Weird neighbors: would you do anything?

My father, being a doctor in surgery and having seen the results of motorcycles crashes too often, hated bikes. He forbid his kids from riding motorcycles. Hence, my brother really had to work hard to hide the fact he owned one! I borrowed it for a summer. Loved riding it. But in three months, the three times I had to lay the bike down because a car pulled out in front of me, convinced me they just weren't safe - primarily because motorists just don't see them.

My mantra back when I rode was, "Assume everyone is trying to kill you."

If they are not bothering you, I would leave them alone, I wouldn't won't any neighbors that are enemies
Bothering me? Other than being VERY worried about what this crazy guy may do next, I guess not. Although he is surely disturbing my peace and quiet. I can hear him screaming - and hear every word - from literally a half mile away while I'm on stand. Morning after morning.

But is he breaking any laws? Other than possibly sanitation laws (what are they doing with their human waste?), I guess not.

Pulls at my heart strings to see all of this. Especially since he had a dream of making something awesome but reality has hit him pretty hard.

I'm telling you buddy, sanitation laws (environmental laws) will take control in this situation, especially if raw sewage is being spilled on the ground. Your county environmental engineer will be the one to contact, if this is the case, at least for the sanitation issues.

Their one acre is as the top of a ridge. Directly behind their line is a steep hillside down to a creek (my property). If they're pouring their waste down that hill and polluting my stream, I'm going to be pissed! That stream has been so pristine you could drink out of year-round.

Call the Env Engr asap. I was furious to see the guy routing his sewage onto my property as well. He put a stop to it fast.

You can investigate that without trespassing, and then proceed accordingly with the environmental folks. Even show them that his discharge is coming onto your property. That would take care of things rather quickly I would think.

Your stream may be home to brown trout.

Sounds like you're living in the San Francisco of the Smokies. Unfortunately there's no laws for crazies anymore. 40 yrs ago almost every county had an asylum but the Democrat populous felt the need to turn them into the streets. Always carry, get a documented discussion with your sheriff, don't provoke, and wait for for them to hopefully eradicate themselves. Blink camera are good to have around your castle too. Good luck.
Hey man, I voted for trump, but you need to get facts checked, I remember reading it was during the Reagan era that most of the asylums were shuttered. A republicans doing! Love Reagan, but lets fact check your statement

can we get an update? are these people dead now? cops shoot em? what has happened?
Haven't had a chance to run by the Sherrif's office yet. Besides, he's a bit busy with the human heart they found in the TDOT salt!

I'll be driving past the off-gridders place today. I bet they vacate before this arctic blast hits.
