Maybe, maybe not. alabama is like FSU and Miami in the 80s and 90s. They could be 1-9 and somehow they'd be in the 1 or 2 spot.
In my opinion they have to beat Georgia. Or play Georgia close and have 2 of the following happen: Baylor beat Oklahoma State, Iowa beat Michigan, or Houston beat Cincy. If Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma State, and Cincinnati win their games, that's your playoff. If one of them loses, Notre Dame gets in. If 2 of them lose it gets crazy. You have to remember, everyone outside of Bandwagon Nation is sick of seeing Alabama in the playoff. If the committee gets a chance to put in conference champions from the SEC, Big 12, and Big 10, plus an undefeated Cincinnati or 1 loss ND team, they'll jump at the chance. There's no way a 2 loss Alabama team gets in without a LOT of help.

Well done, and makes perfect sense to 99% of college football fans!

But saying all that, come on, you really know that Bama is one of the four best teams and deserves to be in, right :D ?

Absolutely! It's perfectly normal for one of the four best teams in the country to struggle and barely escape LSU, Arkansas, and Auburn. Never mind those 3 teams have a combined record of 20-16. And 8 of those 20 wins are McNeese State, UL Monroe, Central Michigan, Akron, Alabama State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and Arkansas Pine Bluff. 😂

Sounds like a hater to me

Should sound more like a "don't really give a rat's arse" to you, Dull.

Facts are facts, though: FSU and Miami were fawned over every year regardless of how well or badly they were doing; 1991 is a case in point. Same thing is done with alabama now.

I disagree. Under Saban, Alabama has a record of 9 SEC West titles, 7 SEC Championships and 6 National championships. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think FSU or Miami came anywhere close to that.

Doesn't have anything to do with records... It has to do with treatment.

Tell the truth PDB. Was that you in the 90s when Tennessee dominated before you swapped bandwagons?

Just read an interesting tidbit.

Georgia has 13 starters back from last year's game including eight on offense. Alabama returned 12 total starters from that game

It makes one wonder what is the reason for Bama's slipping this year? Could the constant coaching turnover, especially on offense, be a culprit? It would make sense that the players having to learn a new, or at least different, play-call philosophy, blocking schemes, etc. could have an impact.

Btw, Nick will go from NEVER having lost to an assistant, to losing to two in the same year  !

I hope you are prepared for the firestorm. Your post has a couple facts about alabama with negative connotations. The bammers here are going to go ballistic. Nothing can be discussed about alabama unless it is bordering on worship.
