Surprise Himalayan recipe

An old friend invited my wife and I over for a Himalayan supper last night. My wife believes Himalayan dishes are very healthy, so we accepted his offer. We couldn't believe our eyes when he brought out the main dish. I asked him where on earth he got the idea for such a meal. He simply stated, "as soon as I saw him-a layin' in the road."

Yum. I knew a Polish fellow who was a POW in Siberia after WWII. He said they ate rats to survive. There is a story in the book, The Last Ivory Hunter, edited by Capstick, where a local kid eats a rat.
