Stevens 301 20

Has anyone shot the apex through the Stevens 301 20 with factory choke?

The Federal is awesome out of mine, I have seen guys online do comparisons with Apex but I can't remember if it was out of the 301 T. I am betting the Apex will shoot really good also as they are always close to each other in everything I have seen out of a 20 gauge. I want to try the Apex Ninja load out of my 301 T 410 when I can find some.

I have one of the 3" apex 9 shot left that I'll run thru it sometime. And I'm gonna run to a local place this eve to see if they got their apex in. I'm really needing some 2 3/4 to try out if this little 1100 20ga youth. It's 2 3/4 only so I'm anxious to see how it does.

Are you talking about the plain ole 301 or the 301 Turkey? I ask because I'm thinking the regular 301 had a modified choke from the factory.

10-4. I asked because I have the plain jane 301, that came out before the models were released. I measured the factory choke and it's .600. I've been using a carlson's .575 when shooting TSS. It does what I need it to so far. Y'all have me curious what the factory chokes in the models measure.
