Make your own - sugar, brown sugar, kosher salt, smoked paprika, chili powder, granulated garlic, coffee, tea leaves, dried cilantro, sweet & sour mix - whatever spices/ flavor you like. If it tastes ok, it's a good rub = hard to screw up. Look at several different recipes online & adjust to your taste.

Yep - also, coating venison cube steak w/ yellow mustard before breading & frying is muy bien

X2 on the Carls. Made here in Tn. Eagleville area I believe? It's awesome on pork, and chicken. I love it in a pot of white beans. The kids demand it on their fried and baked fish.
