I have been craving pulled pork but all the rain and storms have kept me stuck in the house. I had to have some pulled pork so I tried this method which worked out pretty well:

Put half of a Boston Butt roast in a crock pot after rubbing it down with pork dry rub.

Add half a bottle of Liquid Smoke.

Cook on low for 12 hours (until the meat falls off the bone).

Proceed with pulling the meat apart and add sauce as with a normal roast from the smoker.

The pork actually was pretty good without me running out in the rain and messing with the smoker. :)

You are right Big J; I am so ashamed. On the other hand, the pork was still good and I did not get my fat butt fried by a lightening bolt. :D

Sounds good, Gramps. I'm always looking for a way to make pulled pork in the winter when the snow banks are taller than the smoker. Thanks for sharing that.

Some of the best pulled pork I've done was in the crock pot.
From frozen to completed, it took 18 hours, but boy was it ever so good.........
