What does the slice look like? I'm thinking of trying 1/2in round cores if I can find something long enough to cut the holes from end to end. I need a sharpened thin wall stainless tube.
I cut a PVC pipe the length I wanted, hit one end on a wheel grinder to sharpen it a bit, and use it to core it out. I cut the ends off of the core and tooth pick the in to seal it up after I stuff it. Works well so far. Been doing it for almost 20 years. What does the slice look like?
